Andy Gaur, an entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in the industry, founded Compunnel Software Group, Inc. in 1994. With his entrepreneurial drive, value-based leadership, and focused approach, Andy soon turned the company into one of the fastest growing software and consulting organizations, serving several Fortune 1,000 companies and bringing in more than $60 million in annual sales. Since the inception of Compunnel, Andy has funded seven start-up information technology companies, all of which are wholly or partially owned by Compunnel Software Group, Inc. He holds executive or board positions in each of these companies.
Andy catapulted Compunnel to becoming the 39th Fastest Growing Privately Held Company in America, as reported by Inc. Magazine, by growing more than 6,500% in the five years leading up to 1997. Andy's success is underlined by the numerous awards he has received, such as "Enterprise Company of the Year" from the Commerce and Industry Association of New Jersey and "Internet Innovator Award" and "Internet Excellence Award" from Technology New Jersey Inc. Andy’s presence among New Jersey's top 40 business people under age 40, short-listed by both Business News New Jersey and New Jersey Monthly, is also recognition of his techno-preneurial foresight.

Rakesh Shah | President & CFO
Rakesh Shah carries 20 years of experience in the IT industry, both on the technical side as well as the financial management side. Rakesh has been managing the complete operations of Compunnel Software Group, Inc. for the last 12 years and has used his business acumen and planning abilities to grow Compunnel to its present position in the industry. He also oversees the financial and fiscal management of all group companies owned by Compunnel.
Prior to taking over as President and CFO, Rakesh was providing consulting services to several Fortune 500 companies including AT&T, J&J, Bristol Myers Squibb and the New York Times. Rakesh’s success has been a result of his ability to understand clients’ business and technology needs and to provide cost-effective, reliable and scalable solutions.
Rakesh holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from M.S. University, India.
Sonia Wadhwa | Executive VP & COO
Sonia Wadhwa has more than 20 years of experience primarily in the area of Learning Solutions, Organization Development & Performance Management, Competency Management and Collaborative learning. With a Major in Physics and Masters’ degree in Computer Applications from Delhi University, India, Sonia has been leading Compunnel’s Learning Solutions, InfoPro Learning, for more than 15 years. Sonia has been a keen practitioner of collaborative learning and has passionately contributed to the evolution of the collaborative learning solutions Compunnel offers.
Sriraj Mallick is an accomplished leader and business strategist providing leadership in the areas of customer acquisition, marketing, channel development and product development. Sriraj started his career as an entrepreneur and has extensive experience, working with companies in the areas of software, consulting and outsourcing. Sriraj has built effective and sustainable models for IT outsourcing for many organizations.
In his past roles working in other divisions of Compunnel, Sriraj has launched new products for the company as well as built and managed a globally diverse sales team, strong channel network across the United States and Europe and setup a new geographic presence for the organization.
A contributor to the company’s vision and strategy, Sriraj brings strong execution capabilities and a customer-focused approach.
Rakesh K. Jain | Executive VP, Technology & Delivery
Rakesh K. Jain has more than 25 years of global diversified experience, including the four years he has been with Compunnel. RK has been instrumental in building and scaling many of Compunnel's businesses successfully. He has a track record for customer centricity, passion for excellence, using right mix of technologies for solutioning and rigor in execution. RK has insightful knowledge of business process analysis and design, re-engineering, process rationalization, cost control, capacity planning, performance measurement and quality. He has significant experience in developing products with abilities in managing tasks ranging from conceptualization to deployment, management of multi-project onshore /offsite teams & customer relationship management.
While executing and managing IT projects/ Product/ Services, RK has acquired domain knowledge for Automobile, Finance, Insurance, Utility Billing, Social, Heavy Engineering, Fashion, Retail & Logistics and Telecom sectors in an international environment. Prior to taking over as EVP of Technology & Delivery, RK was a director with BPR Ventures, Inc. He also held senior management positions with World Fashion Exchange, SDI Technologies, Cosmic InfoTech Solutions, NIIT, Ltd. and UNICEF.
RK holds a Bachelors of Technology and Masters of Technology degree from IIT, Delhi, and he has attended a post graduate program (Leading and Management) at IIM, Calcutta. He is also a Certified Project Management Professional having execution experience using SEI CMMi 5 assessed matured processes. He spends his spare time reading books on software technology and business strategy.
Karthik Natarajan | Executive VP
Karthik Natarajan is an accomplished technology/business solutions architect and executive with more than 20 years of diverse IT experience. He is responsible for shared and emerging technologies, architecture and standards, and developing the technology strategy for the company.
Karthik has an extensive experience in architecting, designing and building viable IT solutions for complex business needs ranging from software applications to complex infrastructure solutions and support. His vast experience in IT & Communications Infrastructure and Enterprise Software applications provide him with the enhanced ability to bring together the best blend of both in the solutions he architects.
Karthik's core competencies include Software Architecture, Infrastructure Design & Development, VOIP, Technology Integration, Relationship Management, Project Lifecycle Management, Business Process Optimization, Strategic Planning, Technology Sales, Marketing, Global Operations and Executive Leadership.
Vinayak Rampalli | Sr. VP, Sales & Recruiting
Vinayak Rampalli has extensive industry experience in various engineering fields and started his career in the IT industry as a programmer. With dedication, focus and hard work, Vinayak soon climbed the corporate ladder from a programmer to a senior member of the IT staffing management team. Vinayak has more than 10 years experience in managing the sales and operations of IT staffing, and with the help of a dedicated team, he has been instrumental in growing and maintaining Compunnel’s IT staffing business.
Vinayak holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering from Osmania University, India, and a Masters in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
Milind Naik | VP, Sales & Recruiting
With a major in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, a Masters in Sociology and a diploma in Computer Applications, Milind Naik has more than 18 years of experience in the IT industry, primarily in the fields of talent acquisitions, new business development and setting up of RPOs. His strong technical and academic background and vast experience in IT recruitment across business sectors makes him an SME in forming, training, managing and mentoring teams of recruiters, business development managers and account managers for IT staffing.
A strong believer in quality and process improvement, Milind has led the organizational development practices and implemented a competence management framework for creation of processes, a training and mentoring framework, and a performance management system, tailored specifically to the demands of industry and the company.
Milind is responsible for new business development and for defining and setting the sourcing plans for specific channels based on recruiting targets and budget while ensuring it is in line with the company’s business and marketing strategy. He manages contacts with external clients and vendors/agencies, He handles contract negotiations, collaborating with recruitment, marketing, sourcing and planning to understand recruiting demands to develop and customize recruiting and marketing best practices.
Milind manages and maintains huge real time dynamic databases of clients, recruiters and consultants and moderates groups of IT recruiters and consultants on social media sites.
Amit Agarwal | VP, Sales & Recruiting
As Vice President, Sales & Recruiting for North American Operations, Amit is responsible for sales and talent delivery in the niche industries of IT, Engineering, Finance and Health Care. Amit provides exceptional leadership and effective strategic planning to execute highly successful client and consulting initiatives. His strength is building strong partnerships with Compunnel’s consultants and clients.
Amit leverages his more than 15 years in the industry to build exceptionally motivated teams to drive value and service to clients and consultants. During his 12-year tenure with Compunnel, Amit has driven record-setting profitable growth, was recognized for his outstanding achievements and was instrumental in starting a key division for the organization that experienced incremental sales growth. Amit held leadership positions in industries such as eLearning, IT consulting and outsourcing where he served in a variety of roles.
Amit holds a MBA in International Business Management from FORE-Maastricht School of Management, The Netherlands.
Kamal Rastogi | General Counsel
Kamal K. Rastogi has more than 25 years experience in managing business transactions and contracts, immigration logistics and other legal company matters.
He possesses a Masters Degree in Chemistry and a Degree in Law from Meerut University, India. Kamal has worked more than 15 years in publishing as Managing Partner and Legal Counsel. He has worked in the areas of all company affairs, contracts, copyrights and real estate. He has studied at New York Law School with specialization in Corporate Law, International Business Transactions, Immigration and Real Estate, and obtained his New York State License in 1997. He is admitted to Practice Law in the State of New York, Federal District Courts of the Eastern and Southern District of New York and admitted to Practice in India. He is a member of the New York County Lawyers Association, Corporate Counsel Association of America, American Immigration Lawyers Association and Indo American Lawyers Association. He has extensive experience in Business Immigration, Contracts and Corporate Litigation especially in Software Development and Consulting, and Real Estate Transactions and financing.
He has been providing immigration and corporate legal services to Compunnel Software Group and its affiliated companies for the last 12 years.
